General Information
Slow Bolt Cilantro is a great choice for an herb garden. These seeds are from Renees Garden seed company. This cilantro has the great benefit of ‘bolting’ or going to flower more slowly than typical cilantro plants. The leaves of the cilantro are deep green in color, with delightful spicy fragrance. The leaves are a staple of Mexican cooking, in Asian dishes and in salsas. The flowers can be good for attracting pollinators. The seeds are coriander, another great spice to harvest and use in the kitchen! Each seed packet will weigh 2 grams, containing approximately 150 seeds.
Additional Information
Cilantro can planted once the threat of frost has passed. It tends to do better in cooler weather, but it can be planted from February to September in most areas. The seeds will take 10 to 20 days to germinate, once planted. Thin seeds to about 4 inch spacing to allow for full growth.
