General Information

Wings and Warts Gourds provide a very ornamental addition to your garden.  These very unique, ornamental gourds are from Renees Garden seed company.  These plants will produce gourds in a variety of shapes, sizes and colors.  They are largely spoon, globe to pear shaped.  These gourds also have unique winged ridges, smooth skin with warts.  They can come in various colors or green, yellow, orange and cream.  They are great for a variety of fall decorating purposes.  They Wings & Warts Gourd seed packet will weigh 1.5 grams, containing 25 to 30 seeds.  

Additional Information

The Wings and Warts Gourds are typically best started indoors, in individual pots to be later transplanted.  When planted in the garden, whether by transplants or by seeds, temperatures should be 50 degrees or above at night.  These plants can grow to be larger in size along the ground or trained on a trellis or support of some nature.  The gourds can be harvested once the stem to the gourd has begun to dry.  They will come to maturity in approximately 100 to 120 days.
