Sungold Falsecypress
General Information
Sungold Falsecypress is an evergreen shrub. It will grow to be moderate in size, up to 6 feet tall. It grows in a dense, upright and broadly spreading overall fashion. This is a slower growing shrub that will take a bit of time to reach full maturity. The color and interesting form make this shrub ideal for a variety of landscaping areas. The evergreen foliage is narrow and thread-like in nature. It is a very attractive yellowish-green in color.

Chamaecyparis pisifera ‘Sungold’ reaches 5 to 6 feet tall, with a spread of 6 to 8 feet. It is recommended for USDA climate zones 4 to 8. Sungold Falsecypress can grow well in full to partial sunlight. It will do well with average amounts of moisture in well drained soils.
