General Information
Sunshine Daydream Abelia is a semi-evergreen shrub. It is medium in size at 4 feet tall and wide. It typically grows in a dense and rounded overall fashion. It will work well in a variety of landscaping areas. The leaves are small and oval in shape, with a glossy appearance. They have very attractive tri-color variegation. Medium-green, with creamy to pink edges. In the fall, the leaves take on maroon to purple tones. Trumpet shaped flowers in abundance in the springtime, light pink to white in color.
Additional Information
Abelia grandiflora ‘Abelops’ reaches a height of 3 to 4 feet, with a similar spread. It is recommended for USDA planting zones 6 to 10. Sunshine Daydream tends to do best in full sun conditions. It will do well with average amounts of moisture in well drained soils.
