General Information
Soft Serve Gold Falsecypress is an evergreen shrub. It can grow to be larger in size, at upwards of 10 feet tall. It tends to be slower growing, taking a while to reach that height. Soft Serve typically grows in a dense, pyramidal overall growth habit. The interesting appearance and color makes it perfect for a variety of landscaping areas. The evergreen foliage is narrow and thread-like in nature. The needles keep a nice yellowish-green color throughout the year. This color will provide a nice pop in the winter.
Additional Information
Chamaecyparis pisifera ‘FARROWCGMS’ reaches a height of 6 to 10 feet, with a similar spread. It is recommended for USDA climate zones 4 to 8. Soft Serve Gold Falsecypress can grow well in full to partial sunlight conditions. It does well with average amounts of moisture in well drained soils.
