Prairie Sun Black Eyed Susan
Prairie Sun Black Eyed Susan is a very nice perennial plant. Perfect for borders, flower beds and a variety of other landscaping areas. This plant forms as a lower clump of leaves, with upright flower stems above. The leaves can be rather large, up to 7 inches long. They are bright green in color, with a rough and hairy texture. The flowers can grow fairly large in size, to 5 inches in diameter. The petals are light orange, tipped with bright yellow. The center disk is greenish-yellow in color. These flowers bloom from early summer, into the autumn. Removal of spent flowers will encourage later reblooming. Great for attracting butterflies!
