General Information

Lemon Squeeze Fountain Grass is a perennial grass. It is of moderate height, reaching 3.5 feet tall. This fountain grass is full and dense, with an arching form. The Lemon Squeeze Fountain Grass is a great choice for a variety of landscaping areas. The foliage has a great deal of ornamental appeal, with an attractive golden-green color. It tends to have the best color in full sun areas. This fountain grass will have coppery to gray flower/seed heads from midsummer into fall. The flower heads have a nice, fluffy appearance.

Additional Information

Pennisetum alopecuroides ‘Lemon Squeeze’ will be 3 to 3.5 feet tall, with a spread of 4 to 4.5 feet. It is recommended for USDA climate zones 5 to 9. Lemon Squeeze Fountain Grass will tend to do best in full sunlight conditions. It will do well with average amounts of moisture in well drained soils.
