General Information
Bandwidth Maiden Grass is an ornamental perennial grass. It is smaller in size, reaching 3 feet tall. It grows in a very attractive clump of upright growing grass. Bandwidth will fit well in a variety of landscaping areas. The leaves are narrow, growing densely. They are bright green in color, accented by bands of yellow. These colors create a striking appearance throughout the growing season. Seed plumes mature to golden brown in the fall. They can provide a nice appearance deep into the fall.
Additional Information
Miscanthus sinensis ‘NCMS2B’ reaches a height of 2 to 3 feet, with a similar spread. It is recommended for USDA climate zones 5 to 9. Bandwidth tends to grow best in full sunlight conditions. It does well with average amounts of moisture in well drained soils.
