General Information
Beyond Blue Fescue Grass is an ornamental grass. It is smaller in size, reaching 12 inches tall. It has a compact, erect overall form. Beyond Blue Fescue is a nice accent choice for a variety of landscaping spaces. The leaves are narrow, usually held straight, arching toward the end. They will keep a nice steel blue-green color throughout the growing seasons. This plant can be semi-evergreen in warmer climates, dying back in colder areas. It will have small, inconspicuous greenish to purple flowers in late spring. Tan seed heads follow.
Additional Information
Festuca glauca ‘Casca11’ will be 10 to 12 inches tall, with a spread of 16 to 18 inches. It is recommended for USDA climate zones 4 to 9. Beyond Blue Fescue tends to grow best in full sun conditions. It will do well with average amounts of moisture in well drained soils.
