Great assortment of cover crop plants in this Renee’s Gardens scatter canister. Cover crops provide great benefits to the soils and for insects. It chokes out weeds, protects soil structure and helps with soil fertility. This blend includes Winter Rye, Hairy Vetch, Daikon Radish, Purple Top Turnip and Austrian Winter Pea. Great for protecting and fertilizing your soil!
Planting & Packaging Information
This seed canister contains approximately 3 ounces of seed. It covers 600 to 700 square feet. Grows best in full sun conditions. After soil is lightly worked, the seeds can be spread, then covered with approximately 1/4 to 1/2 inch of soil. These plants should be watered regularly throughout the growing season. This blend is great for tilling into your soil, composting or turning into the soil after covering.
