General Information
Winky Red & White Columbine is a nice perennial that will go well in different areas of your landscape. The plant forms as a compact, bushy mound of foliage. The leaves have a medium green color, and grows densely, giving the plant a nice full appearance. The flowers are quite abundant, blooming in the late spring and early summertime. The outer petals have a deep burgundy-red color, and white, tinted with burgundy on the inner petals. Good plant for attracting butterflies and hummingbirds. The flowers are excellent for cut flower arrangements.

Aquilegia vulgaris ‘Winky Red-White’ grows to a height of 12 to 15 inches, with a similar spread. It is recommended for climate zones 3 to 8. It can grow in full to partial sunlight. Winky Red & White grows best in well drained soils with at least average amounts of moisture.
