French Lace Weigela

General Information

French Lace Weigela is a variegated weigela featuring bright green leaves with yellow green margins.  This fast growing weigela has rounded habit.  The bright foliage provides a stunning contrast for the trumpet shaped, dark red blooms that emerge spring to summer. Red orange fall color is somewhat insignificant. The French Lace Weigela was developed by Andre Briant in 1999. Beautiful accent plant for your landscape.  Plant in mass for an outstanding border. Attractive planted along walls or fences. Use in foundation plantings. Add the beautiful flowering branches to your cut flower arrangements.
