General Information
French Lace Weigela is a deciduous shrub. It has a rounded overall form, with a great deal of ornamental appeal. It is a great choice for a variety of landscaping areas. The trumpet shaped flowers bloom in abundance in the late spring to summer time. The flowers are a very nice dark red in color. The leaves are very ornamental as well. They have a beautiful green and gold variegation. The French Lace Weigela is a great choice for landscape appeal and quite attractive to a variety of pollinators.

Weigela flordia ‘Brigela’ will be 4 to 5 feet tall, with a similar width. It is recommended for USDA climate zones 4 to 8. French Lace Weigela will tend to grow and flower best in full sunlight conditions. It will do well with average amounts of moisture in well drained soils.
