General Information
Tutti Fruitti Butterfly Bush is a beautiful plant that would fit well in many different areas of your landscape. This compact plant tends to grow in an upright, mounded habit. The leaves are narrow to oval and are green with silver undertones. This foliage has a scent. The star of the the show, however are the flowers. The pinkish-lavender colored flowers grow on stems above the foliage. They form in large clusters all over the bush. These flowers bloom from summer until the first frost, providing great color into the autumn months. This plant is a favorite of butterflies and hummingbirds.

Buddleia x ‘Podaras #13’ grows to a height of 2 to 2.5 feet, with a similar spread. It is recommended for climate zones 5 to 9. It likes to grow in full sunlight. Tutti Fruiti likes to grow in average, well drained soil. It needs consistent watering until it is well established, after that it has drought tolerant qualities. It can be pruned in late fall or early spring. The flowers look great in cut arrangements.
