General Information

Pink Flutterby Butterfly Bush is a deciduous shrub. It is of moderate size, growing to 5 feet tall. It has a largely upright, rounded overall form, with great ornamental appeal. It has an added benefit of having sterile flowers, so this will not potentially seed out like others may. This shrub has densely growing grey-green foliage, giving the plant a nice appearance throughout the growing season. Pink Flutterby will have large clusters of flowers throughout the late spring and summer months. These flowers are a very attractive bright pink. They are great for attracting butterflies and hummingbirds!

Buddleia x ‘Podaras #9’ reaches a height of 4 to 5 feet, with a similar spread. It is recommended for USDA climate zones 5 to 10. Pink Flutterby Butterfly Bush tends to do best in full sunlight conditions. It will do well with average amounts of moisture in well drained soils.
