Superstar Spirea
General Information
Superstar Spirea is a deciduous shrub. It is a spirea with a compact overall form and great ornamental appeal. This would be a great choice for a variety of landscape settings. It will have clusters of pink flowers. They will be in bloom in early summer, possible rebloom later in spent flowers are removed. Superstar Spirea will have deep red new leaves, transitioning to deep green as they mature. The foliage will be a nice bronze-red in the fall.
Additional Information
Spiraea x bumalda ‘Denistar’ will be 2 to 3 feet tall, with a width of 3 to 4 feet. It is recommended for USDA climate zones 3 to 8. Superstar Spirea will grow best in full sunlight conditions. It will do well with average amounts of moisture in well drained soils.
