General Information
Sangrita Sombrero Coneflower is a perennial plant. It is a moderate sized perennial, reaching 22 inches tall. This coneflower has a nice upright form, with abundant flowers held above the foliage. The great ornamental appeal makes it a great choice for a variety of landscape settings. The foliage is oval in shape, growing in a dense clump. The leaves are a very attractive deep green in color. The flowers will emerge orange, maturing to deep red in color. The center cones are orangish-brown in color. The flowers are great for attracting birds or a variety of pollinators.

Echinacea ‘Balsomanita’ is 18 to 22 inches tall, with a spread of 22 to 24 inches. It is recommended for USDA climate zones 4 to 9. Sangrita Sombrero Coneflower can grow in full to part sun conditions. It will do well with average amounts of moisture in well drained soils.
