General Information

Rose Verbena is a native perennial plant. This is a low growing, spreading plant, with a great deal of ornamental appeal. It would be a great choice for rocky, native areas or many other spots. The leaves are deep green in color, keeping a nice appearance through the growing seasons. The flowers are carried in clusters above the foliage from late spring into the summer. They will be rose-pink to purplish-pink in color. The flowers of the Rose Verbena are great for attracting a range of butterflies and a variety of other pollinators!

Additional Information

Glandularia canadensis will be 8 to 18 inches tall, with a width of 18 to 24 inches. It is recommended for USDA climate zones 5 to 9. Rose Verbena will tend to do best in full sunlight conditions. It will do well with average amounts of moisture in well drained soils. Once established, it will have good drought tolerance.
