General Information
Midnight Sun Weigela is a deciduous shrub. It will be compact in size, reaching just 18 inches tall and wide. This weigelas size and ornamental appeal make it a great choice for a variety of landscaping areas. The foliage will emerge deep green in the spring months. It will transition to beautiful shades of orange to red in the late summer to early fall. The flowers of the Midnight Sun Weigela are pink, blooming in the late springtime. The flowers are attractive to pollinators!

Weigela florida ‘Verweig9’ will be 12 to 18 inches tall, with a similar width. It is recommended for USDA climate zones 4 to 8. Midnight Sun Weigela will grow well in full sunlight conditions. It will do well with average amounts of moisture in well draining soils.
