General Information
Tuxedo Weigela is a deciduous flowering shrub. It is a weigela of moderate size, reaching 5 feet tall and wide. This will be a great choice for a variety of landscaping settings. The foliage will be dark green with dark burgundy overtones. It will provide a nice appearance for the weigela through the growing seasons. Tuxedo Weigela will have clusters of trumpet shaped white flowers. They will be in bloom from summer to early fall. The flowers will attract a variety of pollinators!
Additional Information
Weigela x ‘Velda’ will be 4 to 5 feet tall, with a similar width. It is recommended for USDA climate zones 4 to 7. Tuxedo Weigela will grow best in full sunlight conditions. It grows well with average amounts of moisture in well drained soils.
