General Information

Little Spark Spirea is a deciduous shrub. It forms as a nice mounded, slightly spreading plant. This shrub will be a nice choice for a variety of landscaping areas. The leaves will emerge orange in the spring, maturing to yellow through the summer. The leaves will have reddish to pink tones in the fall. Little Spark Spirea will have abundant clusters of pink flowers in the summer. If the spent flowers are removed, there may be reblooming later in the summer.

Additional Information

Spiraea japonica ‘Minspil04’ will be 18 to 24 inches tall, with a width of 18 to 30 inches. It is recommended for USDA climate zones 3 to 8. Little Spark Spirea can grow well in full to part sunlight conditions. It will do well with average amounts of moisture in well draining soils.
