General Information
Jewel Black Raspberry is a fruit producing plant. It will have a nice full, compact overall growth habit. This plant will have deep green foliage. Large, tasty black berries will be produced typically by early July. They will have a good, sweet flavor, perfect for fresh eating, preserves or a variety of dessert uses. The berries can be frozen as well. The Jewel Black Raspberries are self pollinating, but may produce more if planted near a pollinating partner. Attracts wildlife.

Rubus idaeus ‘Jewel Black’ will be 3 to 5 feet tall, with a width of 2 to 4 feet It is recommended for USDA climate zones 3 to 8. Jewel Black Raspberry will grow best in full sunlight conditions. It will do best with average amounts of moisture in well draining soils.
