General Information
Triple Crown Blackberry is a fruiting shrub. It is a vigorous, semi-erect plant. This is a floricane variety of blackberry, producing a large harvest in mid-summer. The berries are large in size, with delicious sweet flavor. They are a great choice for fresh eating or a variety of other uses. The Triple Crown Blackberry has the additional benefit of being thornless, making for much easier picking. This blackberry will benefit from being grown on a trellis.
Additional Information
Rubus fruticosus ‘Triple Crown’ will be 10 to 12 feet tall, with a general width of 6 to 7 feet. It is recommended for USDA climate zones 5 to 8. Triple Crown Blackberry full grow in full to partial sunlight conditions. It will grow well with average amounts of moisture in well draining soils.
