General Information
Dark Knight Caryopteris is a deciduous shrub. It is somewhat smaller in size, reaching upwards of 3 feet tall. This shrub grows in an overall rounded form, with great ornamental appeal. It will do well in a variety of sunny landscaping areas. The foliage of this caryopteris is narrow and oval in shape. It is medium green in color, keeping a nice appearance through the growing seasons. Dark Knight Caryopteris will have abundant clusters of flowers in late summer to early fall. The fragrant flowers are a very attractive violet to purple in color. Great for attracting butterflies!

Caryopteris × clandonensis ‘Dark Knight’ reaches a height of 2 to 3 feet, with a similar spread. It is recommended for USDA climate zones 5 to 9. Dark Knight Caryopteris tends to do best when planted in full sunlight conditions. It will do well with average amounts of moisture in well drained soils.
