General Information
Nightglow Bush Honeysuckle is an ornamental shrub. It is a compact, rounded shrub, reaching 3 feet tall and wide. This would be a nice choice for a variety of landscaping spaces. The foliage is very attractive, typically dark green with heavy maroon to purple tints. The leaves will turn a deeper reddish-purple in the fall. The bright yellow flower clusters of the Nightglow Bush Honeysuckle will bloom from late spring into early summer. The flowers are attractive to a variety of pollinators!

Diervilla splendens ‘El Madrigal’ will be 2 to 3 feet tall, with a similar width. It is recommended for USDA climate zones 4 to 8. Nightglow Bush Honeysuckle will tend to grow best in full sunlight conditions. It does well average amounts of moisture in well draining soils.
