California Spicy Greens
General Information
California Spicy Greens are a great addition to your vegetable garden. This exclusive seed mix is from Renee’s Garden seed company. This mix will contain a great mix of shapes and flavors for your lettuce salads! They will contain peppery oakleaf-shaped Arugula, sweet & tart Mizuna, tangy flavored Red Mustard and nutty tasting French Curly Endive. This is great as a stand alone salad or mixed with lighter tasting lettuces. Each of the seed packets will contain approximately 1500 seeds.
Additional Information
The seeds can planted in early spring. They are best planted in broadcast method, half an inch apart, covered by a quarter inch of soil. The seeds should take around 7 to 10 days to germinate. Harvest will occur in approximately 40 days. Once the green reach 3 to 4 inches tall, harvest the lettuce. Water and fertilize for regrowth and additional harvests.
