General Information
Ben Vernooij Hosta is a perennial plant. It is smaller in size, reaching to 16 inches tall. This hosta will have a mounded, slightly spreading overall form. Ben Vernooij Hosta would be a great addition to any shady areas in your landscape. The leaves are ridged and thick, giving great protection against wind or slugs. They are blue-green in color, emerging with creamy-yellow edges before transitioning to creamy-white. Light lavender colored bell shaped flowers in the mid summer time.

Hosta ‘Ben Vernooij’ will be 14 to 16 inches tall, with a spread of 25 to 28 inches. This hosta is recommended for USDA climate zones 3 to 9. Ben Vernooij Hosta will grow well in part to full shade conditions. It will do well with average amounts of moisture in well drained soils.
