Beekeeper Caryopteris is a deciduous shrub. It is a smaller shrub, reaching 3 feet tall. It has a nice, rounded form with flowers held above the foliage. The Beekeeper Caryopteris is a great plant for a variety of landscaping areas. The foliage grows densely, giving the plant a nice, full appearance. The leaves are a very attractive gold to chartreuse in color. This plant has abundant flower clusters in the mid to late summertime. They are lavender-blue in color. The flowers of Beekeeper Caryopteris are quite attractive to bees and other pollinators.
Additional Information
Caryopteris x clandonensis ‘Minigold’ is 2 to 3 feet tall, with a similar spread. It is recommended for USDA climate zones 5 to 9. Beekeeper Caryopteris will do well in full to part sun conditions. It does well with average amounts of moisture in well drained soils.
