General Information
Ardens Hibiscus is an ornamental shrub. It can grow to be larger in size, reaching up to 10 feet tall. This shrub will grow in an upright, multi-stemmed overall fashion. Even with larger size, the ornamental appeal will make it perfect for a variety of landscaping areas. Ardens Hibiscus will have nice deep green foliage through the growing seasons. The flowers will bloom in abundance from early summer until frost. The flowers are quite large, double and highly ruffled. They are pinkish-lavender in color, with a reddish center eye. The flowers are attractive to butterflies, hummingbirds and bees!

Hibiscus syriacus ‘Ardens’ reaches 6 to 10 feet tall, with a spread of 5 to 6 feet. It is recommended for USDA climate zones 5 to 9. Ardens Hibiscus tends to do best when planted in full sunlight. It will do well with average amounts of moisture in well drained soils.
