General Information
Tiny Wine Gold Ninebark is a deciduous shrub. It is of moderate size, growing to 4 feet tall. It has an overall upright and rounded growth habit. Tiny Wine Gold is perfect for a variety of different landscaping areas. The foliage grows densely, emerging golden yellow in the spring time. It tends to transition to a greenish-yellow for the rest of the growing season. In the springtime there are abundant clusters of flowers. They are pinkish-white in color.

Physocarpus opulifolius ‘SMNPOTWG’ grows to a height of 3 to 4 feet, with a similar spread. It is recommended for USDA climate zones 3 to 7. Tiny Wine Gold tends to grow best in full sunlight conditions. It does well with average amounts of moisture in well drained soils. Once established, it is said to have good drought tolerance.
