Dwarf Korean Lilac

General Information

Dwarf Korean is a compact, low spreading lilac.  Abundant clusters of reddish purple buds open to pale lilac pink flowers in spring. Dark green foliage stays looking great even in the summer heat.  Drought tolerant once established.  This hardy lilac is a great shrub to add to your landscape.  Plant as a low hedge, border, or mass planting.  Use along slopes to control erosion.

No serious insect or disease problems.  Excellent mildew and borer resistance. Frost may cause damage to buds in early spring. 1 review for Dwarf Korean Lilac

I already had one in my yard & it is my favorite plant because it’s easy to grow, has wonderful foliage & flowers, and (of course) has that incredible lilac scent; being a dwarf, you can even lean over the blooms in mass to enjoy the fragrance. I ordered four from Grimm’s Gardens and they were the best packaged plants I have ever ordered from anywhere and the plants themselves were larger and healthier looking than any lilacs I have seen, even at the local nurseries where they didn’t have to endure handling and shipping. I’m very very impressed so now I have to check out what they offer on line.
