Stella Supreme Daylily is a perennial that will look great in different areas of your landscape. Although it is best known for the flowers, the foliage has nice ornamental value as well. This foliage is long, arching and narrow in form. It keeps a nice deep green color all through the growing season. The flowers grow to a nice size, to 3 inches in diameter. The petals have an arching, ruffled appearance. They are bright, lemon yellow in color. The Stella Supreme begins to bloom in the late spring, continuing through the summertime. Great plant for attracting butterflies and hummingbirds!

Hemerocallis ‘Stella Supreme’ grows to a height of 12 to 14 inches, with a spread of 12 to 18 inches. It is recommended for USDA planting zones 3 to 9. It grows well in full to partial sunlight. Stella Supreme tends to grow best in fertile, well drained soils with adequate amounts of moisture. It can adapt to a variety of conditions. This plant will do well in difficult urban conditions. It has tolerance of pollution and salted sidewalks.
