Stella in Red Daylily is a perennial plant. It is size controlled, reaching up to 18 inches tall. This plant forms as a nice clump of foliage, with flowers held above. Stella in Red Daylily will work well in a variety of landscaping areas. The leaves are long and narrow, arching outward. They are deep green in color, keeping a nice appearance through the growing seasons. Smaller, yet abundant flowers in the summer months. They are ruby red in color with a yellowish throat. The flowers are very attractive to butterflies!

Hemerocallis ‘Stella in Red’ will be14 to 18 inches tall, with a similar spread. It is recommended for USDA climate zones 3 to 9. Stella in Red Daylily will do well in full to part sun conditions. It will do well with average amounts of moisture in well drained soils. Shows great drought tolerance once established.
