Polaris Blueberry
General Information
Polaris Blueberry is a fruiting shrub. It is moderate in size, reaching up to 4 feet tall and wide. This would be a great choice for your fruit orchard. Abundant white flower clusters in the springtime. Medium size berries ripen typically in later July. The sweet tasting berries are great for fresh eating, baking or a variety of other uses. Polaris Blueberry does need a pollinating partner, Northland being a good option. This blueberry shrub will develop nice red fall leaf tones.
Additional Information
Vaccinium ‘Polaris’ will be 3 to 4 feet tall, with a similar width. It is recommended for USDA climate zones 3 to 7. Polaris Blueberry will grow and produce best in full sunlight conditions. It will do well with average amounts of moisture in well draining soils.
