General Information
Mariachi Salsa Helenium is a perennial plant. It will have an upright growth habit and compact overall form. This helenium will be a nice choice for a variety of landscaping areas. The leaves are medium green in color, keeping an attractive appearance through the growing seasons. The flowers will be deep red, highlighted in orange. The flowers bloom in abundance mid summer. If the spent flowers are trimmed, a second flush can occur later on. Mariachi Salsa Helenium will attract butterflies and hummingbirds!

Helenium autumnale ‘Salsa’ will be 18 to 20 inches tall, with a width of 20 to 23 inches. It is recommended for USDA climate zones 3 to 9. Salsa Mariachi Helenium will grow best in full sunlight conditions. It will do well with average amounts of moisture in well draining soils.
