General Information

Black Olive Carnival Coral Bells is a perennial plant.  It is a smaller plant, growing to 12 inches tall.  The plant typically grows in a mounded overall form.  It is great for a burst of color in shady landscaping areas.  The leaves grow densely, giving the plant a nice, full look.  They emerge a glossy, deep green color, before transitioning to black-bronze in color.  The underside of the leaves add appeal, rosy-red in color.  Beginning mid-summer, there are open clusters of pink flowers held on stems above the foliage. 

Additional Information

Heuchera x ‘Carnival Black Olive’ reaches a height of 10 to 12 inches, with a spread of 12 to 14 inches.  It is recommended for USDA climate zones 4 to 9.  Carnival Black Olive tends to grow best in partial shade conditions.  It does well with average amounts of moisture in well drained soils.
