Description
Hummelo Betony
General Information
Hummelo Betony is a cousin to the familiar lambs ears, but not at all similar. In early summer the upright spikes of tiny, two-lipped rose lavender flowers appear. This is a clump-forming perennial, forming a low mound of crispy green foliage. These flowers rise well above the foliage. Removing faded flowers will encourage more buds to form for weeks on end! Hummelo makes a unique addition to any sunny border.
Additional Information
This interesting and unusual perennial will look great near the front of the border, or in containers. The plant may be clipped back hard immediately after blooming to tidy it up for the rest of the season. These clumps will spread over time to form a dense ground cover. Grows to 18-24 inches with a similar spread. Hardy in zone 4-10.
Care & Shipping Notes
