General Information
Amber Jubilee Ninebark Tree is a delightful small tree option for your landscape. It reaches just 6 feet in height. This size makes it perfect for placement in many different areas. In the spring, clusters of small white flowers grow in abundance on the tree. There can be scattered re-bloom in the fall. The foliage in the spring and summer on new growth is orange, with yellow accents. Old growth foliage is deep green. The foliage is purplish-red in the fall. The bark adds a great deal of winter interest, with age. It exfoliates in strips to colors of red, orange and light brown.
Additional Information
Physocarpus opulifolius ‘Jefam’ grows to a height of 5 to 6 feet, with a spread of 3 to 4 feet. It is recommended for USDA climate zones 2 to 8. It can grow well in full to partial sunlight. Amber Jubilee does best in well drained soils with average amounts of moisture. It is now known to have serious disease or insect issues.
