Storm Shelter Daylily is a perennial plant. This will be a daylily of moderate size, providing a good deal of ornamental appeal for your landscape. The foliage is arching and deep green in color. It will provide the plant with a nice appearance through the growing seasons. The flowers of the Storm Shelter Daylily are quite large, reaching about 5 inches wide. The flowers have a purple center area, with pinkish-purple covering the rest of the petal. The edges of the flower are highly ruffled and dark purple in color. The flowers bloom in abundance beginning midsummer, with rebloom as the season goes on. They are great for attracting a variety of pollinators!

Hemerocallis ‘Storm Shelter’ will be 22 to 24 inches tall, with a width of 18 to 24 inches. It is recommended for USDA climate zones 3 to 9. Storm Shelter Daylily will grow well in full to part sunlight conditions. It will do well with average amounts of moisture in a variety of soil conditions.
