Prairie Wildfire Daylily is a perennial plant. This will be a daylily of average size, providing a good deal of ornamental appeal for your landscape. The foliage is arching and deep green in color. It will provide the plant with an attractive appearance through the growing seasons. The flowers of the Prairie Wildfire Daylily are quite large, reaching about 5 inches wide. The flowers are deep red with a yellow throat and lightly ruffled edge. The fragrant flowers will bloom in abundance beginning midsummer. They are great for attracting a variety of pollinators!

Hemerocallis ‘Prairie Wildfire’ will be 20 to 24 inches tall, with a width of 18 to 24 inches. It is recommended for USDA climate zones 3 to 9. Prairie Wildfire Daylily will grow well in full to part sunlight conditions. It will do well with average amounts of moisture in a variety of soil conditions.
