Max Frei Soapwort
General Information
Max Frei Soapwort is a perennial plant. This is a lower growing groundcover type plant. It is a nice choice for rock gardens, slopes or a variety of other areas. The leaves are smaller, growing densely on the stems. The dark green foliage will keep a nice appearance through the growing seasons. Max Frei Soapwort will have abundant flowering typically from mid summer to early fall. The five petaled flowers are a very attractive soft pink in color.
Additional Information
Saponaria × lempergii ‘Max Frei’ will be 6 to 8 inches tall, with a width of 12 to 18 inches. It is recommended for USDA climate zones 3 to 7. Max Frei Soapwort can grow well in full to partial sunlight conditions. It will do well with average moisture amounts in well draining soils.
