Jazz Little Bluestem
General Information
Jazz Little Bluestem is an ornamental grass. It will have a controlled size, with a nice upright overall form. This grass will be a very nice choice for a variety of landscaping areas. The foliage is narrow, keeping an upright form. Jazz Little Bluestem will have nice blue-green foliage through the growing seasons, gaining a purplish tint in the fall. Fluffy seed heads are purple-bronze, emerging mid summer. They will turn silvery-white late summer.
Additional Information
Schizachyrium scoparium ‘Jazz’ will be 24 to 30 inches tall, with a width of 12 to 18 inches. It is recommended for USDA climate zones 3 to 9. Jazz Little Bluestem will tend to grow best in full sunlight conditions. It will grow well in well drained soils, with average amounts of moisture.
