General Information
The Honeycrisp Apple is an excellent cross of ‘Macoun’ and ‘Honeygold’. It features fruits with a sweet flavor and crisp, juicy texture. This outstanding apple has cream colored flesh and a delicate aroma. The Honeycrisp is an excellent dessert apple. It is also great for fresh eating and will store well for an extended time period. The Honeycrisp Apple tree is moderately vigorous in growth with a spreading habit. It will consistently produce large fruits that may be 3″ or more in diameter. Pollinate with Empire, Enterprise or Liberty Apples. Ripens Early to Mid September.
Additional Information
Malus pumila ‘MN #1711′ grows best in Full Sun. It will grow 8-10’ tall with a similar spread. Plant in zones 4 to 7. Good cold tolerance.

Plant in average, well drained soil. The Honeycrisp Apple tree should be thinned heavily to prevent overcropping. Moderately susceptible to fire blight.
