Going Bananas Daylily
Going Bananas Daylily features 4″, lemon yellow blooms with recurved, petals and ruffled margins. These beautiful, fragrant blooms grow on strong, well branched stems. An improved version of ‘Happy Returns’. Each flower blooms for only a day, giving the plant the name daylily. Enjoy the beautiful blooms from summer to early fall. These vigorous lilies multiply quickly, and are easy to transplant. Plant in mass to help control erosion. Can be used as ground cover. Add beautiful color to your landscape or perennial garden. Daylilies are a great choice for new gardeners. They are tough, easy to grow and adapt to various conditions.
Hermerocallis ‘Going Bananas’ grows best in Full to Part Sun. It will grow 19-22″ tall with a spread of 18-24″. Plant in zones 3 to 9. Rabbit resistant. Tolerates salt, air pollution and Black Walnut. Attracts butterflies and hummingbirds. Good heat and humidity tolerance. Somewhat drought tolerant.

Easy to grow in average, well drained soil. Prefers a fertile loam. Water regularly during dry weather. Divide every 3 to 4 year to prevent over crowding.
