General Information
Citrus Sunjoy Barberry is a deciduous shrub. It smaller in size, making it perfect for a variety of landscaping areas. This low maintenance plant keeps a nice rounded shape. The foliage grows densely, giving the plant a nice appearance throughout the growing season. The leaves keep a great yellow to greenish-yellow color. This yellow leaf barberry has been shown to resist burn in full sun much better than other plants. Small yellow flowers in the springtime.
Additional Information
Berberis thunbergii ‘Koren’ grows to a height of 2 to 3 feet, with a similar spread. It is recommended for USDA climate zones 4 to 8. Citrus Sunjoy Barberry tends to do best in full sunlight. It does well with average amounts of moisture in well drained soils.
