General Information
Winky Blue & White Columbine is a great plant that will look great in different areas of your landscape. It typically grows in a compact, mounded form. The foliage has a delicate appearance, and a nice green color. When trimmed back a little after flowering, it keeps a nice appearance all growing season. The flowers are quite nice. The outer petals have a deep purplish-blue color, the inner petals have that color, with white along the edges. The blooms last throughout the springtime. These flowers are very attractive to butterflies and hummingbirds. They are a great choice for cut flower arrangements.

Aquilegia vulgaris ‘Winky Blue & White’ grows to a height of 12 to 15 inches, with a similar spread. It is recommended for climate zones 3 to 8. It can grow in full to partial sunlight. Winky Blue & White grows best in well drained soils with at least average amounts of moisture. Can be trimmed to near the ground at the end of the growing season.
