Visions in Pink Astilbe is a perennial plant. It can become a larger perennial plant, growing up 32 inches tall. It has a good deal of ornamental appeal, perfect for a pop of color in shaded areas. Vision in Pink Astilbe grows in a dense and upright overall fashion. The foliage can be coarse in texture, oval in shape with deeply cut edges. It has a nice blue green color. The flower plumes are held on stems above the foliage. The flowers are light pink in color. They bloom beginning late spring to early summer.

Astilbe chinensis ‘Vision in Pink’ reaches 24 to 32 inches in height, with a spread of 18 to 24 inches. It is recommended for USDA climate zones 4 to 8. Vision in Pink Astilbe grows well in full to partial shade conditions. It will do well with average amounts of moisture in well drained soils.
