General Information
Ultraviolet Phlox is a perennial plant. It is a tall phlox variety, with an overall upright growth habit. This plant can work well in a variety of landscape settings. It will have deep green leaves, keeping a nice appearance through the growing seasons. Ultraviolet Phlox will have large, abundant flower clusters. They will be magenta-violet in color, blooming from mid to late summer. The fragrant flowers are great for attracting bees, butterflies and hummingbirds.
Additional Information
Phlox paniculata ‘Ultraviolet’ will be 32 to 36 inches tall, with a width of 28 to 32 inches. It is recommended for USDA climate zones 3 to 8. Ultraviolet Phlox can grow well in full to partial sunlight conditions. It will do well with average amounts of moisture in well drained soils.
