Tiny Wine Ninebark
Tiny Wine Ninebark grows up to 5 feet tall. It is a good deal more compact than other ninebarks. This makes Tiny Wine ideal for many different landscaping areas. This shrub has a good deal of ornamental quality. There are abundant flower clusters, blooming in the mid spring time. The flower buds are light pink, with the flowers a nice white, blushed pink. The foliage is also quite nice. The leaves emerge dark green, turning to maroon-bronze as the season continues.
Physocarpus opulifolius ‘SMPOTW’ grows to a height of 3 to 5 feet, with a spread of 3 to 4 feet. It is recommended for USDA climate zones 3 to 7. It tends to grow best in full sunlight. Tiny Wine does well with average amounts of moisture in well drained soils.
