General Information
Spotted Bee Balm is a perennial plant. It will have generally upright growth habit. This plant is native to a broad swath of the United States. The leaves are deep green in color, keeping a nice appearance through the growing seasons. The flower spikes are quite interesting. The Spotted Bee Balm will have small yellow flowers with purple dots. There will also be attractive pinkish-purple bracts right below the flowers. This plant will be great a great choice for attracting a variety of pollinators!
Additional Information
Monarda punctata will be 2 to 3 feet tall, with a width of 12 to 24 inches. It is recommended for USDA climate zones 3 to 8. Spotted Bee Balm can grow well in full to part sun conditions. It will do well with average moisture levels in a variety of soil conditions.
