General Information

Spice Island Viburnum is a deciduous shrub. It will have a rounded overall form, reaching 5 feet tall and wide. The ornamental qualities of this viburnum make it a great choice for a variety of landscaping spaces. The foliage will be deep green in color, with a glossy appearance. The leaves will be a very attractive burgundy-red in the fall. The Spice Island Viburnum will have clusters of pink buds opening to white flowers. The fragrant flowers will bloom in abundance in the spring.

Additional Information

Viburnum carlesii ‘J.N. Select A’ will be 4 to 5 feet tall, with a similar width. It is recommended for USDA climate zones 4 to 8. Spice Island Viburnum will grow well in full sunlight conditions. It does well with average amounts of moisture in well draining soils.
